A transformative force in community service, delivering inspiring initiatives and fostering positive change
Who are we?
We support seniors aged 60+ and their carers in North Hertfordshire, particularly those with disabilities. Our group meets every Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Westmill Community Centre, Hitchin, for activities promoting mental and emotional well-being.
Our programs include seated exercise, memory games, bingo, dominoes, quizzes, raffles, reminiscing sessions, and socializing. We also organize annual trips to seaside resorts, markets, museums, and safari parks. Participants enjoy a hot, nutritious meal as part of their day.
We collaborate with organizations like the Community Police, Hitchin Fire and Rescue, Diabetes UK, the Red Cross, and more to provide workshops on dementia, cancer awareness, and other important topics.
